Text: Genesis 37:1 - 40:23

11" x 14"

In Parashat (Torah portion) Vayeshev, Joseph's father gives him a brightly-colored coat, and he begins to have dreams: the sun, moon, and eleven stars bowing to him in the sky, and his brothers' sheaves of grain bowing to him in the field. His brothers begin to hate him, then sell him into slavery -- which is how he gets to Egypt and begins the Israelite people's journey from Canaan to Egypt, where we would become slaves and then be led to freedom.

This piece can be personalized with an inscription of the name and date of a Bar or Bat Mitzvah! Be sure to include the spelling of the Hebrew name if possible (to type in Hebrew: http://www.branah.com/hebrew ).
